Scarcity-Waste

The second edition of the Syngenta Photography Award invited photographers to respond to the theme of 'Scarcity-Waste' – one of the greatest challenges we face today in a world of increasingly limited resources. We received over 2000 entries from photographers in over 100 countries providing a unique perspective on scarcity and waste and the tensions between them. Winners were announced at a ceremony and exhibition in Somerset House in London in March 2015.

The Scarcity-Waste exhibition highlighting some of the most thought-provoking responses to the theme ran from March 11 to April 10, 2015 in London attracting more than 22,500 visitors.
